Police are on the hunt for a suspect after an attempted robbery at the pharmacy in Omemee Monday afternoon.
Around 2:45 p.m., a man entered the town’s only pharmacy, Countryside Pharmacy, on King Street, and allegedly handed the clerk a note demanding Fentanyl patches. No weapon was seen, and no one was hurt.
The suspect is described as white, five-foot six, with a slim build. He had scruffy dark hair and was wearing a dark hoodie and jeans.
