4 facing charges after jewelry taken, pawned locally

Police have charged three Peterborough residents after an incident involving stolen jewelry.

Charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000: Tanya Lee-Anne Monteith, 37, of Collison Avenue, and Justice Procter, 18, and Jamie Allen Procter, 40, both of Bankside Drive, Peterborough. They will be in court Sept. 22.

Also charged, Bradley Curtis Levitt, 32, of Cathcart Crescent, Cavan Monaghan. He was additionally charged with public mischief (for allegedly misleading officers during the investigation). Levitt was held in custody for an appearance in court Monday.
