Officers were called to a break-in in progress at the bike shop on Saturday, Aug. 27 at 6:15 a.m. The K-9 unit helped locate a male in a nearby shed. Police say they pulled the suspect out of the shed with the police dog. The boy was treated in hospital for treatment of a bite wound to his leg.
Police say the same youth was charged with the break-in at GB Services Friday night. The windows and bars to the office were damaged.
Nothing was stolen in either case. The youth cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
