A man involved in an incident on Friday evening at a restaurant on George Street in Peterborough has turned himself into police.
An argument ensued, and the victim reported the accused assaulted him and stole two necklaces from his neck before leaving the restaurant.
As a result of the investigation on August 28 the accused turned himself in at the Peterborough Police station where he was placed under arrest and charged with robbery with violence. The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court later today (Aug. 29).
The name of the accused is not being released in order to protect the identity of the victim in this domestic-related incident.
