Computer, TV, cigarettes, cash targets of recent thefts

Police are reminding residents and motorists to lock windows and doors after two thefts reported from homes in the city peterborough policeMonday.

On August 29 between noon and 7 p.m., police say someone broke into a home on Water Street through an unlocked window. No one was home at the time. A MacBook Pro and a small television were taken.

Then on Monday evening, someone broke into an apartment on Hunter Street West through an unlocked door and took cigarettes and cash.
