Driver charged after collision on Buckhorn Road; Traffic stop leads to obstruction charge

Police charged a driver with impaired driving following a single-vehicle collision Monday night on Buckhorn Road. Shortly before 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the collision.

Robert James Schoffield, 52, of Buckhorn was charged with:

  • Impaired Driving
  • Refuse to provide a breath sample
  • Drive while disqualified
  • Breach of probation
  • Driving with an open container of liquor


A routine traffic stop led to charges for a Peterborough man. Peterborough County OPP say they stopped a vehicle on Highway 115 Monday just before 9 a.m. The officer reports the driver gave a false name to avoid being identified as a suspended driver. Anthony Goodrich, 46, of Peterborough was charged with driving while suspended and obstructing police. He has a court date of November 3.
