Three suspects sought after overnight stabbing in Oshawa

Police are seeking three suspects after a 19-year-old male was stabbed at a north Oshawa townhouse complex.

Durham Regional police say they were called to the parking lot of a townhouse complex on Nonquon Road in Oshawa around 1:55 a.m. Friday regarding an armed suspect. They say a victim had been approached by a male suspect outside a coffee shop on Simcoe Street North about a drug purchase. The victim left the area, but the suspect and two other males allegedly caught up to the victim in the parking lot. During the altercation, the victim was stabbed. The three suspects fled.

The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for a serious, non-life threatening stab wound.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male who was wearing a grey hoodie, light blue or white pants and black shoes.


Suspect #2 is described as a black male who wore a reddish coat or long-sleeved shirt, light jeans and light-coloured shoes.


Suspect #3 is described as black male who had on a black hoodie, dark pants and dark shoes.
