Five men in their 20s are facing charges after gunshots were heard at a legal marijuana grow operation in Uxbridge Saturday.
Durham Regional police say they were called to a property in the area after employees on site reported hearing gunshots and several men arguing. There was also a report that a man had been seen trying to cut the fence to the property the night prior.
When confronted, police say the suspect pointed a handgun at the employee, identified himself as a police officer, and fled the scene. No one was hurt.
Members of the Tactical Support Unit and K-9 searched the property and located five suspects, two vehicles, a loaded .22 rifle, 52 rounds of ammunition and a replica pistol handgun.
