Police seek Bridgenorth residents who have damaged vehicles

Peterborough County OPP say they were called to Bridgenorth Wednesday morning around 11 for a shirtless male who was reported to be damaging vehicles on Hunter Street.

A 27-year-old male from Bridgenorth was arrested at the scene and taken to an area hospital for a mental health assessment.

Police have been able to identify ten victims who have had vehicles damaged by the suspect over the last nine days. Investigators are confident there are more vehicles damaged in the area of Peterborough Avenue and Hunter Street in Bridgenorth.

Investigators are actively looking for information that may assist in identifying other persons who may have had vehicles damaged by the suspect.
