Police seek help to identify suspects

Northumberland police are asking for the public’s help to identify two people seen in the area of a cottage break-in late in February.

On February 28, the owner of a cottage on Hermiston Road in Trent Hills reported a break-in and theft. A 20 amp Mastercraft battery charger and a cammo-coloured pop-up tent were stolen.

Around 6 p.m. that day, two males were seen in the area. Both are described as Caucasian, around 30 years old, and were wearing dark winter jackets with fur trim. One male is balding and has short dark hair wearing blue jeans and brown winter boots. The other suspect was wearing a Molson Canadian toque and brown and orange runners with orange laces.
