Cocaine, heroin, weapons seized in traffic stop

A 37-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after police pulled over a vehicle Monday afternoon that was allegedly driving erratically in Lakefield.

Officers seized cocaine, heroin and prohibited knives during the stop which happened at about 1:45 p.m. on Clementi Street.

Timothy Raymond Brady, 37, of Clancy Crescent, Peterborough, is charged with the following:

  • Impaired driving (Drug)
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (heroin)
  • Possession of a schedule I substance (cocaine)
  • Knowledge of unauthorized possession of weapon X3
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 (cash)

He was held in custody for a court appearance Tuesday.
