Petes head to Eastern Conference Final with sweep over Kingston

The Peterborough Petes are in the Eastern Conference Final for the first time since 2005-06.
That same year the team won the J. Ross Robertson Cup as OHL champions.
The Petes swept the Kingston Frontenacs and Niagara Ice Dogs to get here.
On Thursday night, the Petes beat the Frontenacs 6-2.
Goaltender Dylan Wells even scored an empty net goal to help eliminate Kingston.
The Petes will play the winner of the Mississauga Steelheads and Oshawa Generals in the conference final.
