Authorities in this area are keeping a close eye on water levels. Otonabee Conservation is maintaining a flood warning it issued late last week.
Kawartha Conservation has not issued such a warning but both organizations report a large amount of water is still moving through the Trent Severn waterway from the north.
As well, recent precipitation has contributed to slightly higher water levels and flows.
Residents are reminded to stay clear of waterways as high flows and cold water temperatures will be dangerous.
