Friends and family will gather next month to remember the vibrant life of Audrey Caryi, who died from injuries she suffered in a riding accident last month.
Emergency crews were called to Stillbrook Stables on Woodside Road after she was thrown from a horse around 7 p.m. March 20.
Caryi was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre with serious injuries; she was later airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital. Caryi passed away from those injuries April 5 at the age of 67.
Audrey Caryi was a long-time employee of Lang Pioneer Village, marking 34 years at the museum in February.
