Peterborough Petes goalie Dylan Wells is the Pioneer Energy OHL Player of the Week.
He was instrumental in the Petes four game sweep of the Kingston Frontenacs.
Including scoring a goal in the series clinching game.
Last week, Wells posted a 2-0 record with a goals-against-average of 1.50 and save percentage of .957.
Wells made 66 saves in two road games last week.
This is Wells’ second Player of the Week award (Dec 12-18)
Jonathan Ang is the only other Pete to be named Player of the Week this season.
The Petes open the Eastern Conference Final against the Mississauga Steelheads on Thursday night at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
