Tim Dalliday named athlete of the year

Tim Dalliday received a life-saving liver transplant in 2011.
On Tuesday, he was named athlete of the year at the Peterborough Civic Awards.
Last year, he won gold medals for cycling at the Canadian Transplant Games.

In addition to athletics, Dalliday is an advocate for organ donation.
He says he’s an example that organ donation works.

Dalliday plans to attend the U.S. Transplant Games next year in Salt Lake City.
