As close to 40 members of the Special Olympics team gather to play some Bocce ball once a week.
This weekend three members of the team will be travelling to Mississauga to compete in the Ontario Special Olympic Games and representing Peterborough.
This marks the first time the city has sent athletes to play Bocce ball.
The Bocce team won’t be travelling alone.
They’ll be joined at the provincials by the track and field team and a pair of soccer teams.
