Newswatch Staff ProfilesGary Dalliday Sports Director Gary was born and raised here in Peterborough and began working at CHEX in 1975. Most of that time he served as the station’s Sports Director. Gary can be seen each night on Newswatch at 6 and 11. For many years Gary also hosted a weekly sports show called "Sports Beat" and going way back was the host of "Dalliday Goes...". Gary is well respected in the Peterborough sports community having been inducted into the Peterborough and District Sports Hall of Fame in 2001.
Gary’s hobbies include golfing at the Peterborough Golf and Country Club during the summer and building model cars during the winter months. Known as "the Diller”, Gary has 4 grandchildren who keep him busy on the weekends. |
