Keri Ferguson
Keri Ferguson Anchor/Producer, Newswatch @ 6:00

Keri is thrilled to be back in Ontario after spending 10 years in the west. She's originally from Brooklin, Ontario.

Prior to joining the CHEX Newswatch team in August 2006, Keri spent 6 years on the anchor desk at Global Saskatoon. She's held various anchor, producer, reporter and videographer positions at CFQC, the CTV affiliate in Saskatoon, MCTV in Timmins, and CKX in Brandon, Manitoba and IMTV In Dauphin, Manitoba.

Keri graduated with honours in Broadcast Journalism from Canadore College in North Bay and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in English, from Nipissing University in North Bay.

Keeping physically fit has always been important to Keri. She spent over 12 years as a competitive figure skater and a member of a seven-time Canadian Champion synchronized skating team. She says it's that experience that taught her how to be a team player. While in Saskatchewan, Keri continued her love for skating and obtained her Professional Figure Skating Coaching Certification.

Keri has been involved with many charities and non-profit organizations over the years. She has a soft spot for animals and adopted her cat, Sam, from a Street Cat Rescue Program.

When not at work, you'll find Keri spending time with her family, out for a run, or curling up with a good novel.
