Newswatch Staff Profiles Dan Nyznik Videographer/Producer Dan sometimes refers to himself as a “grizzled veteran” of television news, meaning he’s been at it a long, long time. He’s worked in a variety of places including Toronto, Ottawa, Charlottetown and Pembroke. Now rooted in the bucolic village of Keene, he divides his talents between CHEX TV where he is a videographer and producer and Belleville, Ontario where he teaches in the TV Broadcast & Sports Journalism programs at Loyalist College. He says “it’s a great fit”, teaching aspiring broadcast journalists while at the same time staying current in the industry. Dan has also worked in radio and print.
When not on the job he enjoys entertaining, travelling and going to the Galaxy Cinema to catch the latest flick. |
