Upon graduating from Loyalist College in 1985, he worked at radio stations in his hometown of Pembroke and in Welland.

Todd joined CHEX Television full-time as a reporter/sportscaster in 1992, and in the last few years has been a Newswatch videographer, primarily reporting on the people and events from the lakeshore region.

Todd and his wife Julie have two children; Megan and Aaron.
