Apple Sauce Breakfast
Ingredients:
1/4 cup fresh apple sauce
1/4 cup yogourt
1/4 cup 3 minute oatmeal or multi-grain cereal
Instructions:
1. Cook oatmeal with boiling water from kettle.
2. Add yogourt and apple sauce after three minutes.
**Variations:
Add some wheat germ for an extra nutritional punch. Remember that vitamin C helps the body absorb more iron. Add kiwi or a tablespoon of orange joice.
You can also use banana or peaches. Banana adds iron, but not much vitamin C, so serve with orange juice or some other high vitamin C juice.
