Buttercream Icing

Ingredients:
2 lbs. sifted icing sugar
1/2 lb. Bakers White Margarine (found at "Bushel Basket") or butter
1/2 lb. Crisco Shortening
1/4 cup milk
2 tsps. of a clear flavouring - vanilla or almond
Blend the ingredients well, with an electric mixer, but DO NOT beat.

Can be kept for 2 to 4months in fridge, or 6 to 8 months in freezer.

Tip # 1, 2, 3, 5, 12   - flower centers, writing, printing, fine borders
Tip # 16, 18, 22, 199   - borders, stars, fleur-de-lis, shells, and clowns
Tip # 101s, 102, 104   - roses, forget-me-nots, primrose, daises, apple blossoms
Tip # 48   - basketweave
Tip # 67, 352   - leaves
Tip # 131   - drop flowers

1 - #7 flower nail, 1 - 10" decorating bag, and 1 - 12" decorating bag, 2 - standard couplers, tip brush, 1- 7" angled metal spatula, 1 box of 15" parchment triangles, 1- package of clown heads, 1- decorator's (paint) brush (Tester brushes can be found in "Wal-mart")

One bottle of clear flavouring, either vanilla or almond extract.

Bring to class all of the above, plus a damp cloth in a plastic bag, waxed paper, scissors, pen, paper for notes. also, one of the following: 3" stryo cake or a 3" deep round cake pan - no larger than 9" diameter (stryo is preferred).
