A 20-year-old man is in a Toronto hospital after he was stabbed outside of a house party in Oshawa early Sunday morning after police say a fight broke out at a Cherryhill Street residence.
The suspect fled the scene but the canine unit was able to track him down.
Troy Marr, 27, of Oshawa is facing a list of charges including aggravated assault; assault causing bodily harm and possession of a weapon. He was held for a bail hearing.
The victim suffered serious but non-life threatening wounds. Policed say a second man was injured in the altercation – he was treated in hospital for slash wounds.
