Four Lindsay residents facing charges for drug trafficking

On Thursday, officers in Lindsay stopped two individuals in a Chrysler 300 on Lindsay Street South.  The officers also executed warrants at a Simcoe Street residence in Lindsay.  In total, police recovered 45 grams of cocaine along with several fentanyl strips and marijuana.  A high powered rifle was also seized from the residence.

Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Controlled Substance are Philip Anderson, 29, Chad English, 25, Tammy-Lynn Penney, 21, and a 17-year-old youth.

Anderson and English are also facing additional charges for breaching a firearms prohibition.
