On Thursday the City is hosting two community consultation sessions to help brand Peterborough.
They are both at the Evinrude Centre from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The city is partnering with local agency BrandHealth to establish a theme or an idea that captures the uniqueness of Peterborough.
Input can also be provided on the city’s website.
Perhaps it’s the pristine parks… or the historic Peterborough Lift Lock…or maybe the free zoo explorations
What makes Peterborough unique?
Streeter: It’s such as sense of community, and partnership and the food here is amazing.
there’s nothing like downtown Peterborough and all the shops and all the great places to visit…love Peterborough.
The city seeks that enthusiasm for its Community Branding Project which aims to create a theme or idea that captures the city’s uniqueness.
CAO Allan Seabrooke says the citys brand needs a “refresh.”
“It was developed many decades ago and we felt it was time to engage the public to come up with something new and fresh,” he says.”So we can use that to create some civic pride as well as to help promote our city as a great place to live, work and play.”
Teaming with local agency BrandHealth, the city will hold two community consultations on Thursday (March 9) at the Evinrude Centre at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. seeking ideas for a new city brand.
An online survey is also available on the city’s website.
