Peterborough Public Library has a new CEO

The board of the Peterborough Public Library Monday announced it has appointed a new CEO.

Jennifer Jones moves from the role of interim library manager and CEO that she has held since June 2016.

According to Board Chair, Paul Stern, “in her acting role, Jenn has clearly demonstrated her ability to manage multiple issues at once. The Board is happy to have her stabilizing influence on a permanent basis as we lead up to our return to the newly renovated Library.”

Staff continues planning the move from their temporary headquarters at Peterborough Square back to the new and improved Main Branch at the corner of Aylmer and Simcoe this fall.

The next step is to begin actively recruiting to find a new Head Librarian to join Jenn at the helm, Stern adds.
