The Peterborough Petes put together a memorable season in 2016/17.
It saw the team win their first east division title in 11 years.
The Petes also reached the third round for the first time in that same time period.
But, the team is disappointed with its exit — a sweep at the hands of Mississauga in the conference final.
The team will return most of its young core next season.
Gone will be a few players who will go pro (likely Korostelev & Spencer) and graduating players like Kyle Jenkins, Steven Lorentz and captain Brandon Prophet.
But a number of up-and-coming talent is waiting the wings for next season.
