A man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was stabbed in his home during a domestic dispute in Peterborough’s south end, police say.
Officers were called early Sunday morning to assist paramedics and fire personnel at a Crawford Drive home. The call came in just after 2 a.m.
Police say the initial call was made by a female resident of the home. The victim was first taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre and then rushed to a Toronto Hospital where he remained Monday.
A 23-year-old woman was arrested for aggravated assault and remanded in custody following a court appearance Sunday. Police say the name of the accused will not be released since the incident was domestic in nature.
