Robbery with violence arrest:
A 49-year-old Peterborough man has been charged with robbery with violence following an altercation at the Simcoe Street bus terminal on Saturday.
On May 13, at approximately 8:15 p.m. police were dispatched to the Simcoe Street bus terminal for an assault and robbery. It was reported that while the 69-year-old male victim was in the washroom area he was approached by an unknown man who assaulted him and stole cash from his pocket.
The incident was reported to police and officers along with EMS attended. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
Through the investigation the male suspect was identified.
On May 17, at approximately 5:15 p.m. the suspect was located at a Rubidge Street address where he was placed under arrest.
Andrew Willis Bradley, 49, of Rubidge Street, is charged with robbery with violence and failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court later today (May 18).
