Boater, driver charged with impaired driving

A boater faces impaired driving charges while on Pigeon Lake on the weekend.

Members of the Peterborough County OPP marine unit were conducting equipment checks on Pigeon Lake Saturday evening. Shortly before 5:30pm, one of the boaters was found to have been consuming alcohol.

Andrew Nicholas Kinsman, 33, of Bobcaygeon, was arrested at the scene and charged with:
• Impaired driving
• Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood

He is scheduled to appear in court in Peterborough on July 20.

Driving wrong direction

OPP located a vehicle driving in the wrong direction on Clonsilla Ave early Sunday morning shortly before 4 a.m.

Vanessa Moore, 23, of Peterborough, was arrested at the scene and charged with:

• Impaired driving
• Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood

She is scheduled to appear in court in Peterborough on July 27.

Refuse to provide breath sample

OPP stopped a vehicle on Charlotte Street in Peterborough for a traffic violation shortly before 4 a.m. Monday morning.

Adam Robin William Tye, 27, of Peterborough, was arrested at the scene and charged with:
• Refuse to provide breath sample

He is scheduled to appear in court in Peterborough on July 27.
