Leora Burman is the CMA and Co-Founder of The Land Between Charity, a  conservation-based organization covering 9 different counties in Ontario. In the last three weeks alone,  500 injured turtles from this region have been turned over to the Ontario Turtle Trauma Centre.

The current turtle fatality & injury crisis has led The Land Between to take on some drastic efforts to protect certain species of turtles against further damage to its population. Find out about “Turtle Tunnels” and how they could make a difference when it comes to saving several of Ontario’s turtle species.

Peter Simon is Vice President of the Peterborough Hockey Association and oversees its House League, the recreational level of hockey for players of all skill levels between the ages of three and 18.
